EU AI Act Compliance
Technical Implementation for Europe's AI Regulation
The EU AI Act introduces binding requirements for AI systems operating in European markets. GRAVITI provides the technical implementation expertise to classify, document, monitor, and govern your AI systems in full compliance.
- Full flexibility in deployment options. We are not commercial partners of software vendors
Who Is It For
EU AI Act compliance is mandatory for organizations deploying or providing AI systems that affect individuals in the European Union.
- Chief AI Officers and AI program leaders responsible for regulatory compliance posture
- Legal and compliance teams translating EU AI Act requirements into technical specifications
- Engineering teams that need to implement documentation, monitoring, and audit capabilities in AI systems
- Risk management teams developing AI risk classification frameworks aligned with regulatory categories
Our Approach to EU AI Act Compliance
GRAVITI bridges the gap between regulatory text and technical implementation. We translate EU AI Act requirements—risk classification, conformity assessment, transparency obligations, data governance, and human oversight—into engineering specifications your teams can build and your compliance teams can audit.
Our engineers implement the technical controls required for each risk tier: automated risk classification workflows, model documentation generators, data governance frameworks, performance monitoring dashboards, and human oversight mechanisms. We build these as reusable compliance infrastructure, not one-off documentation exercises.
We also establish the ongoing monitoring and reporting capabilities the Act requires for high-risk AI systems, including bias detection, performance degradation tracking, incident logging, and periodic conformity re-assessment workflows.

Frequently Asked Questions
When do EU AI Act requirements take effect?
The Act entered into force in August 2024 with a phased implementation timeline. Prohibited AI practices apply from February 2025, high-risk system requirements from August 2026, and general-purpose AI obligations from August 2025. Organizations should begin compliance preparation now.
How do you determine risk classification?
We follow the Act's Annex III criteria supplemented by European Commission guidance. Risk classification considers the AI system's use case, the potential impact on fundamental rights, and the sector of deployment. We document classification rationale for audit purposes.
What about AI systems we purchase from vendors?
The Act assigns obligations to deployers (users) as well as providers (vendors). We assess your obligations as a deployer, evaluate vendor compliance documentation, and identify gaps where you need independent compliance measures.
Do you handle the legal aspects of compliance?
We focus on technical implementation. We work closely with your legal counsel or recommend qualified AI law firms for regulatory interpretation. Our deliverables translate legal requirements into technical specifications and verifiable controls.
